Just a Hispanic dilema

Being Hispanic, I grew up in a family that is predominately democrat. The only Republican President that my Father had any respect for was the late Ronald Reagan. Given the incredible amount of charisma That "The Big Gipper" had, only made him more of a draw in our multi-partisan melting pot here in The Lone Star State. According to open air talk radio across this great State of Texas that I live in, President G.W. Bush is a shoe in to win Texas in the upcoming election. It may because G.W. calls Texas his home, but It sure does seem odd that Texas is saturated with Latino citizens and according to past history, the Hispanic vote usually waned toward a Democratic government. Why is it that Texas is not Democrat? Could it be that a large part of the Hispanic population is not registered to vote? On another note. It has been almost four years since our country went through the horrible election miscount in Florida. Has there been a resolution in the use of accurate voting machines? Come on People ....FOUR YEARS! Shouldn't that be enough time to figure that problem out? We should be using the same type of machine, all across the country. Why can't there be reform! Lets all try to move forward as a country, and not take any steps back. This Brings us back to my first problem, who shall I vote for?

Bush is going after the Latino vote, but the problem is that the economy is all messed up and there is a war in Iraq. Bush is not racist and he seems to care about the problems of Latinos, but we need jobs. That's the problem.
